2004 Summer Training Institute Memories
By all accounts it was an intense two weeks. All of the teachers who took part in 2004 STI will remember the camaraderie, the homework, the field trips, the soggy donuts, and the lessons learned. All involved took back with them classroom tools that will touch the lives of students and convince some of them that engineering IS a viable choice for them.
For more ideas on how to implement the things you learned at this summer's STI, go the the national Project Lead The Way website's listserve. You can even post ideas of your own, on the site, to help others.
We will hopefully see many of you back for STI 2005. Please contact us with any ideas you have for improving this year's institute.
