PLTW WebXam Data Collection Instructions

The data for each program now links to the SCHOOL in which it is offered, rather than to the teacher who offers it.  There are now TWO TRACKS, a high school track and a middle school track.  The middle school  track  encompasses enrollment and demographics data  only,  since there are no exams or courses connected with it.

Each school should name a designated position to enter data, but that position can be any position within the school, including the teacher, the EMIS coordinator, the counselor, the secretary or anyone else at the school.  We will still need to register a name and an email address, but the data collection should be hooked to a position rather than to a person.

To obtain your school's username and password:

--  The username  for the  PLTW WebXam system is now the school's building IRN number, and each  PLTW program will link directly to that IRN.

--   A password will be generated and emailed to the person designated as the "official"  enterer of data.  We will need the following info:

--name of school  (SCHOOL, not just the district)
--position designated to do data collection entry
--name of person designated
--current AND CORRECT email of person designated--please double check email address!!!

Please contact patricia.marshall@sinclair.edu  with the information above so that we can get your passwords out to you.

As in years past, we need all data to be entered by June 30  of any given school year.
