  • The school has been offering Gateway to Technology for two or more years
  • The middle school program is linked to a high school PLTW program to facilitate smooth transition of students in the STEM pathway
  • The  middle school contributes data to the national PLTW data collection system and the PLTW Ohio data collection system

1.  Fill out and submit the Middle School Standard of Excellence Program Application form on the  PLTW National website

2.  Complete the Self Assessment and send or email a copy of it to the Ohio State Affiliate.

3.  You will be contacted by the PLTW Ohio affiliate to set up a site visit with the administration, GTT teacher, counselor and two or more students.  Once the visit is completed, and if the school is approved, a Certificate of Recognition will be issued by Ohio PLTW and a recommendation for Recognition will be forwarded to National PLTW.
