Exciting Summer Opportunities for Teachers and Students
Opportunities for PLTW Students
Summer Academy in Computational Science and Engineering
The Ohio State University, the Ohio Super Computer Center and the University of Akron have developed a thirteen-day, non-residential summer academy for students and teachers.The focus of this academy will be computational science and engineering, including how to build, use and test computer models in a variety of interesting ways– from studying the descent of a skydiver jumping from a plane to calculating the strength of a steel beam holding up a structure!
Dates: June 16 – July 2, 2008
Time: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Enrollment Limited
Cost: No fee
