Scholarships Offered for Corrosion Engineering Program

The new corrosion engineering program at the University of Akron has been highlighted in several news articles and radio broadcasts.  Corrosion is a pervasive menace that affects all of our natural, structural, commercial and defense assets.  We have received significant support from the US Department of Defense and industry to create a degree program that will prepare students to solve engineering challenges that will help preserve our current assets and create innovative designs for new ones.

The Corrosion Engineering program is the first of its kind in the United States and is being housed in our Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering department. What better way to start your new career in engineering than to be one of the very first students to participate in this new program ?

If you would be interested in finding our more about this new program and the scholarships available, please contact Ed Evans using the information below.
