Sinclair Community College

Sinclair Community College is located at 444 West Third Street in downtown Dayton at exit 53-A off of I-75. Air service at the Dayton International Airport is approximately 10 miles from campus. Hotel shuttle service is available to and from the airport. Campus Map and directions to Sinclair.

Parking is available in the student/visitor parking garage (Lot A) on the corner of Fifth and Perry Streets across Perry from Building 13. Park on the EAST end of the THIRD LEVEL of the parking garage.

Important SUNDAY parking info: The student garage is CLOSED on Sunday, the first day of the Summer Training Institute, but the lot BEHIND Building 13 (Lot K) is open on that day and parking is FREE.


Building 13 on Sinclair's Campus
All activities for the Summer Training Institute will begin in Building 13 on Sinclair's campus in downtown Dayton, Ohio. To access Building 13, take the overhead walkway at the EAST end of the garage into the building. You will then be on the SECOND floor of the building; take the stairway (or elevator) to the first floor for the Lobby and the classrooms.

The Dayton International Airport in Vandalia, Ohio is the closest airport to downtown Dayton and Sinclair Community College. You will be directed to the property’s home page with the code already entered in the appropriate field.  All you need to do is enter your arrival date to begin the reservation process.  You must book and pay for your own hotel; the cost of housing is not included in your tuition.  Rooms must be booked by Friday, May 23, 2008 for the June workshop.  Rooms for the July/August workshop must be booked by Friday, June 20, 2008.

Directions from Courtyard by Marriott to Sinclair Community College Student Parking Garage

1:  Start out going NORTHWEST on S EDWIN C MOSES BLVD N, approx. 1 mile. 

2:   When you see GERMANTOWN Street, Turn RIGHT and cross the bridge.  It becomes FIFTH Street once you cross.  The big student garage is just across the bridge on Fifth Street, on the right.  The entrance is large, with about three or four gates.  The smaller entrance further down is an “employees only” entrance, so use the first one.   Go up to the THIRD LEVEL if you want to use the tunnels to walk to your classes. 

Bldg. 13:  Park on the EAST end of the third level and walk east through the “Hall of Innovators” which has giant artist portraits down its entire length.  You will be on the 2nd floor of Bldg. 13 when you come through the doors. 

Bldg. 2, 11:  Park toward the EAST end of the third level and take the walkway north through Bldg. 14.  Keep going straight, and turn LEFT at the dead end.  You will be in Building 11.  Follow the signs to Bldg. 2.
